01License grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Service, CodeHawke grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Software on hardware you own or control, solely for your internal purposes and in accordance with the plan and license entitlements associated with your account.
02License key and activation
Paid features require a valid license key tied to your account. The Software may periodically validate the key with our servers and transmit a hashed machine identifier and version information for the purpose of enforcing your entitlements, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may not share, resell, or circumvent license keys or use limits.
03Restrictions
You will not, and will not permit anyone to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software except as expressly permitted;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, or provide the Software as a hosted or managed service to third parties;
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices;
- Circumvent or disable license enforcement, usage limits, or security features;
- Use the Software in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.
04Open-source and third-party components
The Software may include open-source or third-party components licensed under their own terms. Those terms govern your use of the relevant components and, to the extent they grant you rights that this EULA does not, those rights prevail for that component. A notice of such components may be provided with the Software.
05Autonomous operation and your responsibility
The Software is designed to run unattended and to take automated actions on your systems — including starting, stopping, and force-terminating process trees (for example, via taskkill /T /F on Windows), retrying work, and requeuing tasks. You are solely responsible for configuring the Software, the workers it runs, and the permissions and environment in which it operates, and for any consequences of those actions, including data loss or unintended changes to your systems.
06Updates
We may make updates, patches, or new versions available from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued operation or for security. Unless stated otherwise, updates are governed by this EULA.
07Term and termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it or if your underlying subscription or license ends. On termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the Software. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
08Disclaimer and limitation of liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODEHAWKE DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. The disclaimers and liability limits in our Terms of Service apply equally to the Software and are incorporated by reference.
09U.S. government and export
The Software is "commercial computer software." You must comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws and may not use or export the Software in violation of those laws.
